Deep Writing
A 100-day intensive for brilliant individuals ready to stop hiding
Finally, No More Excuses: 100 Days to Consistent Publishing — With AI Trained on Your Voice
"If you are at a turning point in your life and want to take a big step towards your best self, Ben is your coach." — Armin Peter, Former Global Partner at UBS
You
Know building a body of work — publishing consistently — is THE thing to unlock the next level. So much untapped potential in there, right?
Have been using AI. Getting some benefit. But you're using a blunt knife. You haven't had the stillness or structure to sit down and do it properly.
Find your writing can feel mechanical. Lacking a certain je ne sais quoi. Haven't quite figured out your style.
Have started and stopped more times than you’d admit. A background hum of defeat silently eats away at you.
Have fear. Fear of being seen. Fear of being judged. Fear that what you have to say isn't good enough. You don't talk about it much. But it's there.
Are successful in ways that matter to other people. But you know you're playing small. Hiding through omission.
If you’re nodding along, let’s talk.
If time zones make scheduling annoying, email me at ben@benlucas.co.

I wrote a short guide called 10 Minutes to Make AI Less Annoying. (Yes, the title is clickbait. Apparently this is how the internet works now. I'm told it's important to 'meet people where they are.' Eurgh.)
It's a quick fix you can implement today. No fluff.
Before and After
Before (Generic AI):
"Feeling overwhelmed by a busy schedule is a common experience in today's fast-paced world. Many professionals find that busyness can lead to decreased productivity and potential burnout. Consider implementing time-blocking strategies to create more structure in your day. It's important to remember that saying no to certain commitments can actually increase your overall effectiveness. Research suggests that taking regular breaks and prioritising self-care can help manage feelings of overwhelm. You might also find it helpful to audit your calendar and identify tasks that could be delegated or eliminated."
After (Trained on Voice):
"'Life's just really busy at the moment.' I hear this weekly. Said it myself for years. Here's the thing: life didn't get busy. You got busy. 'Busy' describes a dysregulated nervous system, not objective reality. I negotiated thirty contracts simultaneously at Goldman whilst maintaining a three-hour daily practice. My colleagues ate lunch at their desks, convinced this was 'the nature of the beast.' Meanwhile I left at 5pm. Same job. Different relationship with my own mind. The Busy Devil whispers that you'll start when things calm down. Of course he does. Things won't calm down. He knows that. You know that. Ahem."
Writing: The Master Skill
Writing is everywhere.
Emails. Memos. Presentations. Newsletters. LinkedIn posts. Scripts. Captions. Books.
Writing, writing, writing.
This is how you clarify your thoughts. Build authority. Become known for something real.
Writing is the master skill. And it's never been more urgent.
Social media captions. Scripts. Tweets. Newsletters. LinkedIn articles. Memos. Emails. Presentations. Books.
All require writing.
This is how you express yourself. Clarify your thoughts. Build authority. Become known for something real.
Writing is the master skill. And now it's more urgent than ever.
Because, in AI, the digital sword has arrived.
When the sword entered combat, fighting didn't die. Swordsmanship became its own art. Those who mastered it dominated. Those who flailed got cut down.
AI is the same.
Most are flailing. Using it mindlessly. They put shit in, get shit out, producing the generic slop on LinkedIn we all hate.
We assume AI necessarily produces drivel. Not true. They're just not using it properly.
Those who train — who treat it as a weapon to master — will separate from the pack.
I'm a Zen martial artist living near Shaolin Temple in China.
I value ancient wisdom. I shun most modern excitements. But AI is an exception. I apply equal dedication to mastering it as I do to mastering the Shaolin sword.
Because I see the gap widening. Between those who wield this tool with precision and those who wave it around hoping for the best.
The Compounding Corpus Loop
(Apparently I'm supposed to have a "signature method." Here it is.)
Imagine…
Compile. Gather your best work. Emails, presentations, posts, journal entries.
Feed. AI analyses. Reverse-engineers your voice. Builds a first approximation of how you write.
Excavate. Deep journalling on your fears, beliefs, uniqueness. AI interviews you for deep excavation.
Prompt. You ramble with a written stream of consciousness or voice note, providing the raw thinking.
Draft. AI produces a first draft based on the instructions.
Refine. You feed back to AI. It digests. Tells you how to update the instructions so next time it writes more like you. No more ‘I’ve told you 1,000 times – DO NOT use the phrase “Just take a mindful pause” when writing like me!’
Structure. Build AI instructors on how to structure posts for LinkedIn, Substack, whatever. What took hours of trawling through courses now takes minutes. Stay in your zone of fun. Delegate the boring marketing.
Compound. Repeat. Every piece feeds into the machine. The corpus grows. You have different projects for different writing modalities. Day 1: Clunky. Day 30: Impressive. Day 100: You and AI are one.
Get Challenged. As well as your peers and me, you get feedback from AI mentors modelled on writers you admire. What would the greats say? Naval. Plato. JK. Me – yes, you get a Ben Lucas distilling 1,000+ pages of my work.
No technical wizardry. I hand you prompts. You paste into Claude. You add your writing. Magic happens.
I've guzzled what the top dogs are doing — taken the best, binned the fluff, added my flair. You get the cheat codes. Copy-paste friendly. Gradual. By Day 100, you've slowly given your brain to AI and it actually sounds like you.
"Working with Ben has given me a renewed belief that I can change whatever I want about my life. Ben has become an anchor in my life — like a mirror reflecting the side of me that always wanted to get my shit together." — Rens, Executive Coach & Former McKinsey Partner
Your Personal Sensei
I'm that cliché: Goldman Sachs lawyer who packed in corporate comfort to become a Zen kung fu master in the mountains of China.
At your service.
What I've done:
2-hour workday at Goldman Sachs while maintaining 3-hour daily practice and 3 hours of deep creative work
8 coaching programmes including a 6-month corporate programme for ASICS
Written 1000+ pages of materials for coaching programmes and authored Zen Digital Makeover: The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Tech
Coached pro poker players, global partners at investment banks, law firm partners, management consultants, CEOs, world-class musicians
100% of premium coaching clients have either re-signed or continued in another capacity
What I do now:
Some assume I'm sitting around meditating and twiddling my thumbs all day. Au contraire.
5 hours kung fu daily with a 31st-generation Shaolin lineage holder
2 hours learning Chinese
Leading online training for 30+ students
I need to fight for my deep work. Just like you.
And I win it — managing 2+ hours of deep creative work for many years. I lead students to follow suit.
I've spent hundreds of hours experimenting with AI. Made the mistakes so you don’t have to. Now my creative output is roughly 5x what it was — without suffocating my voice.
When I show people how I actually work with AI, the response is usually: "holy shit."
"I have been in high performance for years. I've taken coaching from some of the field's most elite coaches, and I can confidently say that Ben has been the most impactful coach I've worked with to date." — Anton Wigg, Pro Poker Player & Entrepreneur
"But I Haven't Got Time"
Bullshit (excuse the profanity – my profession is calling people out on their excuses).
Let's reframe this.
This programme won’t take up your time. It's an extension of what you're already doing.
You're already writing constantly — emails, memos, presentations, Slack messages. This will improve all of it. We train AI to write like you across all formats.
I'll start by feeding you candy: quick wins to buy back time. You'll notice the shift in days.
Really busy? Wake up. 30 minutes of writing. Deep, undistracted writing on what matters most. Can even batch-draft emails if needed.
But I won't accept any excuses. 30 minutes minimum. It becomes your sacred practice.
Every minute you invest returns several times over.
The Group Container
Every time I've transformed most has been inside small group containers.
Magic occurs in tight containers of excellence.
We do things we couldn’t alone.
What's included:
100-day intensive with maximum 6 participants
1:1 sessions with me (number tailored to your situation). Covering: personalised Kung Fu practice, comprehensive life design, writing review and voice development, heart-to-heart
Weekly lessons delivered asynchronously — 50% teaching, 50% doing.
Community platform — Share work, get feedback, stay accountable.
Structure for daily publishing
Your own Ben Lucas AI — Trained on 800+ pages of my coaching materials. My strategies, philosophy, style. Honestly, it's so good I'm a little scared it will lead you to firing me.
You get the group. You also get me.
I will don my kung fu master hat to give you the hard, no-excuses discipline you need to actually break out of your shell. But don't worry — I'll sprinkle it with compassion and, of course, many jokes to maintain the fun.
One thing to be clear: the AI systems aren't here to make you lazy. They're here to let you operate in your zone of genius.
I hate marketing. I don't want to sit through courses on funnels and email sequences. But I know how to use AI so it handles that nonsense so I can remain single-mindedly focused on being a creative rascal.
My Selfish Confession
I will do every exercise in this programme. Not just to inspire you — for selfish reasons.
I know this will be the best course I've ever taken.
The compounding, exponential nature of what we're building... I cannot fathom how staggering its potential could be.
The AI systems elevate our thinking. Then we improve the systems. Then they elevate us further.
I've transformed my life using AI. But I know there's more in the tank. I always up my game when teaching. Forces me to clarify my thinking and structure my practices better.
What’s Different: We Go Inside
Most AI programmes teach you to sound like everyone else. Go viral. Produce generic slop.
This is the opposite. We train AI to help you be more yourself.
The deep excavation work creates an AI mentor that knows you inside out. We will train it to call you out when your writing lacks your inner spark.
Plus, we complement this programme with a personalised internal Kung Fu practice to help you develop magical Qi superpowers and break bricks with your gaze. Or something like that.
We cultivate all the internal conditions that make creativity possible – mindbody practice, health habits, life design, digital minimalism.

What You Walk Away With

AI mentors modelled on writers you admire, giving feedback in their style

Results From My Coaching
"Physical resurrection: within four months, I reversed decades of decline. My phone usage has gone down 80%. I set ambitious goals that I thought would take two years to reach. We hit most of them in three months." — Rens, Executive Coach & Former McKinsey Partner
"6 weeks into the course I had generated 70% of the revenue of the past year. I cut down my work from 50 hours to 35. Ben gave me the permission to live the life I want to live." — Georg Klausner, Founder
"Where before I was known as a lazy person, I now inspire people with my discipline. Ben saw my weirdness as a strength. He showed me how to channel it into power." — Tibor de Boer, Marketing Expert & Founder
Note: This programme is new — you'd be in the first cohort. These testimonials are from my broader coaching work.
Investment & Guarantee
Depending on the structure we land on, the price will land in the 4-figure range. Likely towards the upper end.
I work with max 6 clients at a time. No space for half-hearted commitments. Skin in the game makes things fun.
That said — complete all the assignments, and if by Day 50 you're not seeing value, full refund. I like to bet on myself.
Next Steps & Foreplay
First cohort begins mid-February – Chinese New Year. Maximum 6 spots. 3 remaining.
First step is a conversation with me. No sales on first call – I don’t kiss on first date. We’re checking for resonance and tailoring the level of support that fits your situation.
Everyone in this container needs to be 100% in. I have no interest in manipulating anyone into joining a container where their flaccid commitment could harm the group.
[Book a Conversation]
If you commit before the programme officially begins, you get foreplay for free.
I'll set you up with your personalised practice and give you preparatory exercises — so when Day 1 arrives, you're already warmed up and ready to move.
Essentially: free extra time with me before we've even started.
Or email me at ben@benlucas.co if time zones make scheduling annoying.
Feeling Scared?
Good.
So is everyone else who has committed.
They've recognised what you're recognising now: the karma has ripened. The universe has handed it to you on a plate.
That knot in your stomach isn't a warning. It's a signal.
Fear is energy waiting to be unleashed.
Big things are possible.

What kinds of writing? Everything. Newsletters, emails, memos, presentations, social media, video scripts. Whatever you need to create.
